Our priority is to grow our valuable business events sector by promoting its world-class destinations and venues and drive more targeted international business events into Britain.

VisitBritain Business Events team works in partnership with VisitEngland’s MeetEngland, VisitScotland Business Events and Meet in Wales to support business development and promotion within the business events sector. All teams across the three nations are responsible for supporting associations, corporations and meeting planners in hosting successful international business events, offering expert and impartial support and promoting their unique story to international audiences.

The team at VisitBritain lead on the Business Events Growth Programme which forms part of the UK Government’s commitment to grow the events sector, supporting cities, organisers and venues in bidding for new events and growing existing business events in key priority sectors. The team works in partnership with each nation and cities across the country to provide sales platforms and educational resources to support building their business pipelines, upskill teams and share best practice on important transformative trends in the business events industry.
