Katie is an experienced marketing and business operations professional with over 20 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry. She holds a Master’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Bournemouth University and previous employers include Tourism Australia, the DMG Media Group and National Geographic. Currently, Katie works at Tripsmiths, an independently owned tour operator which specialises in expert-led escorted tours in the UK and abroad for UK and US-based travellers. As the Global Head of Sales, Marketing and Distribution Partnerships, Katie is responsible for the leadership of the Sales and Marketing function as well general day-to-day management of the wider business and team.
