Nordics Workshop 2024 is an effective platform to connect and enhance your relationships with the Nordic travel trade. Operators from Denmark, Norway and Sweden are invited to attend a dedicated workshop in Stockholm, Sweden, to learn and discover all about the UK.
The event will consist of pre-booked meetings, allowing the opportunity to meet with Scandinavian operators and present your destination or product for 2024 and beyond.

Price Range: Primary delegate: £1,200 +VAT.
Secondary delegate: £850 +VAT.
Grants: There are currently no grants available through VisitBritain, but it is worth checking with your Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) or Destination Management Organisation (DMO) as in some instances grants are available through local authorities to attend overseas trade events.
Level of experience required: Experienced.
Who is it for?
Attendees should be Nordic market trade-ready (having attended previous training and actively engaged with the market), and be relevant to the audience attending the event.

Why should I target the Nordics?
According to figures from the International Passenger Survey 2022, the Nordics combined (Denmark, Norway and Sweden) rank sixth in terms of visits to the UK with 1.7 million visits, and fourth in terms of value, contributing more than £1.1 billion to the UK visitor economy.
Individually, these markets also offer strong prospects:
- Denmarkranks 15th for volume of visits to the UK (up from 17th in 2019) and 21st in terms of visitor spending in 2022 (up from 25th).
- Norway ranks 16th among the UK’s inbound source markets for visit volume (up from 18th in 2019) and 14th for value by visitor spending (up from 19th in 2019).
- Sweden ranks 14th by volume of visits (up from 15th in 2019) and was the UK’s 17th most valuable market in 2022 (up from 21st in 2019).
