Allan Lambert
Introduction
Allan Lambert was appointed as a Board Member to the VisitEngland Advisory Board in March 2018. His current term ends in 2026.
Allan has a proven track record within the UK travel, tourism and hospitality sector, particularly within holiday rentals and multi-site operations. He has gained wide-ranging experience in senior leadership roles within leading UK holiday providers. These include: former Chief Acquisition Officer for Awaze UK, encompassing Cottages.com and Hoseasons; Managing Director, Blue Chip Holidays; senior commercial and marketing roles within Bourne Leisure Ltd, which includes Haven Holidays, Warner Leisure Hotels and Butlins.
Allan is currently Chief Executive Officer of Habitat First Group – a leading provider of holiday home communities in the UK which share a deep love for the great outdoors. Combining ecology, nature and knowledge and award-winning architecture, Habitat First is able to provide sustainable homes where families can holiday comfortably and responsibly.
Allan is also a Non-Executive Director for the holiday home rental business Hideaway Holidays Group (encompassing Rural Retreats). He is also a trustee for the London Early Years Foundation (LEYF), a charitable social enterprise, and an ambassador for the Family Holiday Association (FHA). He holds no other public posts.
